Our decade is characterised by a strong activity in the buildings’ energy upgrading. In greece, such activities are funded either directly (via the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change (YPEKA)’s activity “Energy Efficiency at Household Buildings”) or via tax breaks. They cover the following areas:
- Thermal insulation for the shell of the building and insulating paintwork
- Replacement of older conventional doors & window frames with modern, energy-saving and double-glazed windows
- Installation of solar heaters for everyday hot water
- Replacement of older burners and heaters with newer, energy-efficient models or with natural gas or other renewable energy systems for heating
By enforcing the above we can reach a maximum of 70% of energy conservation, and the doors & windows are an extremely important factor.
All of our products satisfy the requirements of the subisdy programmes. The products’ technical specifications are according to their CE marking and are set by the ΕΝ 14351-1:2006 international standard. The new requirements for the thermal insulation factors are much higher. You can see more information about how to save energy and money.
